I am doing the hair shirt thing, using just one 50mm equivalent lens. Fujifilm X-E1 with Fujinon XF 35mm f/1.4 R lens.

Oak leaves are among the last to turn. Nikon D2Xs and Nikkor 28mm f/3.5 AI lens.

Canon EOS 30D Chinon 55mm f/1.4 Minolta Close-Up Lens No.1

The oak is not as common as the other deciduous trees in the places I frequent, and so when I saw this pair of leaves I brought them home and photographed them with the Chinon 55mm f/1.4 on a Canon EOS 30D via an M42 - EOS adapter. A Minolta Close-Up Lens No.1 helped with close focus.

One Sunday I took a notion to walk from the National Trust's car park at Avebury to West Kennet Long Barrow. The first section of the walk is alongside the beginning of the River Kennet approaching Silbury Hill. The next section is crossing the Great West Road and following this footpath to the Barrow. Of the many photographs I took both going and returning, this is the one I like to gaze at most. I have no idea why that is.
