Shot with an ancient camera with an even more ancient Micro-Nikkor manual focus lens (rumoured to have once been owned by the Emperor Caligula) in dreadful dim electric light.
Erratum - I meant the Emperor Rosko, not Caligula. Caligula was never interested in photography.

Photographed with a Chinon 55mm f/1.4 lens mounted on a Canon EOS 30D via an EOS-M42 adapter. The macro effect was achieved with the addition of a Minolta Close Up No. 1 supplementary lens screwed into the 55mm filter mount.
The Per Una brand has been a major success for Marks & Spencer.

Not so cold that I needed the scarf, so I tucked it in the corner of the camera bag, a Safrotto Domke-inspired design discovered on eBay a while back. The internal dividers which came with the bag were a bit unwieldy and so I have jettisoned them and inserted a Billingham SuperFlex. As you can see, cramming the scarf in dislodged the SuperFlex.
I have remarked before that choosing a camera system is child's play compared to settling on a camera bag.
Photographed with a Nikon D700 and a Tamron AF 70-210mm f/2.8 SP LD lens.

Sigma 15-30mm F3.5-4.5 EX DG Aspherical DF lens on a Nikon D2Xs. Very often when I used this lens I found myself wanting more telephoto than it could provide. Valuable as it was as a versatile wide-angle lens capable of use on full-frame, 35mm film Nikon SLRs, and the more common DX models, I discovered that modest wide-angle ability was all I really needed.
