Nikon D2Xs. Lightroom. A lot of Lightroom.
Listen for the rustling in the undergrowth and the cry of a fox. Are you ready for when a cloud comes between you and the moonlight?

Nikon D700 with AF Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8 lens at 70mm f/8.
My experience of the AF Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8 is that no matter if I used it on full frame, as here, or APS-C, as on a Nikon D2Xs, I would almost always have it at 70mm (as here). On rare occasions when I did not have it at full telephoto, I used it at the widest it would go, ie 35mm.
This is not unusual. Other photographers have reported that with a zoom lens they are either fully at one end or the other.
I reduced the contrast and clarity of the photo in Lightroom. I thought it looked boring otherwise. I'm not entirely confident that it actually looks interesting now. Hey-ho.

Early one morning when there was mist. It looked a bit sinister and made me think of the song by Johnny Almond Music Machine entitled "Voodoo Forest" released in 1969.

Bowden Park Gates

Bowden Hill rises steeply away from the river Avon at Lacock. Behind these gates is the Bowden Park estate and a country house (Grade I listed) which is not visible from the road. It was built in 1796. The estate is concealed by the slope of the hill and surrounding woodland.
