The Limbo Connection's photos with the keyword: effort

Nikon D2Xs + Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. This is a tiny file because it was shot as a jpeg and subsequently cropped. Being a slow learner, it did not occur to me for some years that a zoom lens which terminated at 50mm did not suit my style. The photography books advise 'get closer'. That's a bit impractical when there's a canal between you and the subject. Important points: 1. Shoot RAW and process in decent software. 2. Don't bother following other people's advice (see 1 above). 3. There is no windlass in this picture (but there ought to be).
