Another famous face at work today! Les Dennis came for a trip and I let him have a steer. Les is currently appearing at the WMC in Hairspray. He asked a hundred passengers whether it was the best boat trip they had been on? And his survey said, "DING..." . Of course it was! By the way, we share the same haircut! I had a bit of a drama on Saturday, when my boat with 47 passengers on decided to conk out! Managed to get a tow from the Flat Holm Island boat 'Lewis Alexanda". It was a real life disaster movie! But as always I was the hero!!

A very very sad sight. My favourite boat that I used to drive around the Bay, lies in the scrapyard awaiting her fate. Sadly, age and overwork finally got the better of her. Many happy memories of Sapphire... farewell I'll miss you.
