Back in about 1988 I'd heard stories of fairy folk being seen in Dinas Powis woods near Cardiff. I went along with my camera to try and capture one of these woodland fairies. After a long wait they began to appear. But in the gloom of the deep woods long exposures were called for, and with the fairies flying so fast the pictures were mostly blurred. View On Black

My first ever visit to this one. And NOT easy!! Several treacherous river crossings involving fallen trees and ice covered stones! Big wellies next time. Worth it though. View On Black
