Ben Salter's photos with the keyword: graving

This a montage of four 35mm photographs taken of the gates to the Mount Stuart dry docks in Cardiff Bay. I had heard that the gates were to be opened permanently so I took these to show them as they were before the final opening. In the event the middle gate remained closed. The middle gate is of interest though, as it is a flap gate and would have lowered like a drawbridge, whereas the other two opened normally, hinged to the walls.
