A small iron bridge over an overflow on the Glamorganshire Canal. The curved railings on one side allowed tow ropes from boat to horse to run smoothly over the bridge on the towpath.

Looking through the arch of the old canal bridge carrying North Rd over the top. Now used as a subway for pedestrians.

The smaller picture is the old lock near Pontypridd as it was, and the larger is the same view today although I have kept the horse and barge.
