The mine workings and everything else at this site near Wern Tarw (north of Pencoed) had been demolised. All that remained was this loco! Alone in a field. The Rockwool factory now covers this site.

Sir Gomer brings in it's train from the extremely short run (A platform length) and the now long since defunct Wales Railway Centre in Cardiff Bay alongside Bute St.
