Ben Salter's photos with the keyword: Jupiter

Tonight the planets Venus and Jupiter appeared close together in the night sky. Here is the view from my back garden.

I'm quite pleased with this shot of Jupiter and it's moons taken out of my attic window. Just an old 300mm zoom lens and balancing the camera on the ledge, plus some zooming in photoshop. All four moons are visible here, (one them is only just visible beside the planet to the left). I may have another go at this soon? Jupiter is very bright in the east at the moment.

At this stage Venus was still obscured by the moon.

A bit like a sunset?

He grabs time, that's what he does.

The Moon moves to reveal Venus beyond. This was the moment of revalation.
