Ben Salter's photos with the keyword: space

Tonight the planets Venus and Jupiter appeared close together in the night sky. Here is the view from my back garden.

I'm quite pleased with this shot of Jupiter and it's moons taken out of my attic window. Just an old 300mm zoom lens and balancing the camera on the ledge, plus some zooming in photoshop. All four moons are visible here, (one them is only just visible beside the planet to the left). I may have another go at this soon? Jupiter is very bright in the east at the moment.

I seem to have lost my mojo at present? With every waking hour currently being spent getting the boat ready, my camera is very much on the back burner. However saw this out the window just now so clicked one off. There was a cloud near the top, giving it a more 3D feel.
