A view from the steps on the footbidge that used to cross the line near the present day Baron's Court restaurant, of the sidings on the approaches to Penarth docks. Coal trains awaiting discharge at the docks can be seen in the long sidings adjacent to the main line on the left. [?]

The old hotel originally opened by the Taff Vale Railway, but later re-opened as a childrens home and school. These days parts of the building are used as film studio's!
