The Captain goes credit card crazy, and buys himself a new toy! The choice was the new 500D or this the 50D. The build and features looked good on this to me and as I have no desire to shoot video I dived in. Got myself the Canon 18 -200mm Image Stabilized lens whilst I was at it!! Oh well there goes this years holiday.....

My newest digital camera the Canon EOS 50D, and my first ever digital camera the mighty 2 megapixel Powershot A40. A great little camera that would run for weeks on 4 AA batteries, but sadly it has died. This picture taken for the WFC "Contrasts" copetition see here .
