Happy Saturday! (Or Sunday, depending on where you are.) That floral shape is the same one as in this year's "Space Spider", but heavily filtered and recolored. After its transformation, it made me think of candy corn. Hence the title and the kids' Western motif. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed making it. Song reference , give or take a spelling change. :D The accidental candy corn via filtration has happened before. Here , for instance. But that always was a favorite Halloween treat for me. Those stamps are (left to right) The Pan American Union Building, U.S. President James Monroe, and the "spirit" (goddess?) of Commerce. I've had this 1951 reference guide to U.S. stamps sitting around for years. But I think this is the first time I've actually used any of it.
