A whole lot of texture, patterning, and filtering here, but very few objects, for a change. I thought I'd give 'em the long weekend off. ;) Without quite meaning to, I nostalgia-tripped for the small and simple art cards of almost two decades ago. (link) . I used the Eraser tool with settings for various brushes to try and get the decollage effect. The "painted" layer is from an old refrigerator leaflet. It has some of the "Sumi-E" filter and a few others which I don't normally use. I "peeled" portions of it back with the eraser-brush hybrids to reveal the layer below. Interesting to do. Collage on board. Previously unposted. I like the weird fuschia pink caused by the acids in the paper when the glue hit it, so I left it as-is. The eye is touched up around the outside with water-soluble colored pencil, which I've also used on some other pieces.
