Happy Saturday! (Or Sunday, depending on where you are.) That floral shape is the same one as in this year's "Space Spider", but heavily filtered and recolored. After its transformation, it made me think of candy corn. Hence the title and the kids' Western motif. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed making it. Song reference , give or take a spelling change. :D The accidental candy corn via filtration has happened before. Here , for instance. But that always was a favorite Halloween treat for me. Often, I'm not satisfied with the Type Boxes I make. At least, not until many weeks or even months after they're finished. It's great when working on a picture teaches you something new. I learned that you can use fruitcake to decorate with, even if you'd never want to eat it. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2010 X 1635 pixels.

The main pattern was adapted from a 1928 book by Raymond Subes called La Ferronnerie D'Art . It's found its way into a couple of other collages, too. But I haven't uploaded the photos themselves yet.
