I used the "Craquelure" filter to create the rough texture. At least, it's rough from a distance. If you zoom in, it looks a bit like tiger stripes though. A funny coincidence. (And also, if you see distortions when you zoom in close on my images, I'm sorry. It might be an ipernity bug but I've been too busy to investigate that.) At a weekend barbecue last Fall, a small kitten wandered out of the woods at our friends' place, looking for a home. We took care of him, briefly, but it was too late to save his life.
