That's a TON of text! What was I thinking?! The blood red, of course, comes from looking at the news when I really shouldn't. Built from multiple variations of a simple shape: a square with a circle cut out of the middle. Just like "Snowy," the "Constant" series, and several others. Collage on board. A relic from the time when I could work with gigantic comps, because I had a studio space all to myself. This was the February cover for a local (free) culture mag that's long since passed. By being a stubborn ass, I even managed to get paid for it. :D Shown (considerably) smaller than the original finished size: 1' 4 1/2" X 1' 9 1/2".
