Suddenly it's the Parade Of Tall Rectangles all the time. But it's also my first visit to this series since 2019!! Also, I'm breaking in new bifocals at last. Which may or may not make a difference. I was thinking about falling cherry blooms, even though they don't really fall in the forest. The leafy lines make me think of caladiums, which I wish I could grow here. Too bad it's not warm enough for that. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2828 X 4405 pixels.

Aaand, just as I wrap up work on this, I hear that forest fire season is already beginning here in the U.S. West. Sadly, it's not legal to punch billionaires and politicians in the face, nor are we allowed to send them out to fight the fires. Anyway, that statue is a Greek Peplos Kore from around 530 B.C. Those stamps are (left to right) The Pan American Union Building, U.S. President James Monroe, and the "spirit" (goddess?) of Commerce. I've had this 1951 reference guide to U.S. stamps sitting around for years. But I think this is the first time I've actually used any of it.
