Workmen bring pull down an old water at the Newman site in Yate. This is a small series of photos showing the last days of the Newman Electric Motor Company in Station Road, Yate, near Bristol. This was once an large employer in the town with a workforce of over 1500. It closed in 1988, and today a large supermarket, shops and houses fill this space.
