Williams County, Ohio A pole with two CD 302 Hemingray glass insulators still in service use in Ohio along highway 20. I must of counted about a hundred of them all along highway 20 in Ohio. Most are embossed with Ohio on the reverse side along with some Muncie Type in smaller numbers. This is a very rare sight today to see large colored glass pin type power insulators still in service use.

Williams County, Ohio A pole with four CD 302 Hemingray glass insulators still in service use in Ohio along highway 20. Last week I shot about 25 more poles with the CD 302s in service use and counted 108 still in use. Most say Ohio on the reverse embossed side along with a few Muncie Type. This is a very rare sight today to see large colored glass pin type power insulators in service use.

Williams County, Ohio Here is a close up shot of a CD 302 Hemingray glass insulator still in service use in Ohio along highway 20. You can clearly see the front embossing on the insulator and how the copper tie wire is wrapped around the main copper wire.
