Basically an arts project, which started in 2008 [?] The pair at Aberdyfi were the fourth in the sequence and were installed in July 2011. Late afternoon and a trip to Aberdyfi - There are some very good "artisan" ice-cream sellers here. Took this image of the RNLI and sailing club building whilst eating some chips and planning where to buy the best ice-cream afterwards. Aberdyfi RNLI - Since 1998 the station had operated an Atlantic 75-class inshore lifeboat, RNLB "Sandwell Lifeline" (B-758), launched by tractor down the ramp to the right. In 2016 this was replaced by an Atlantic 85 "Hugh Miles" (B-896). [on a visit in 2021 - buying ice-cream again, the sailing club half of the building was obscured by scaffolding]
