Another patch of Harebells in the dunes at Seahouses, Northumberland.

A good crop of pale blue Harebells and darker blue Bellflowers [ Campanula rotundifolia & C. latifolia ] growing in the marram grass [Ammophila arenaria] which was planted to help stabilise the dunes to the north of Seahouses [Northumberland, North Sea coast]

harebell (Campanula rotundifolia) growing in the meadow near the burn. Light blue flowers seen July to September. Childhood nickname for these was "fairy bonnets"
