It would seem that djt values "loyalty" over "ability" when assembling his team. Will be interesting to see what happens when the new senate is tasked with confirming the nominations. I know - on an intellectual history level - why they have the electoral college. Personally, given modern technology I think it should be revised to more closely reflect votes cast - not the 'winner takes all' as at present. Better still, totally eliminate it and work only on votes cast. . Not my image : fair use & public education
