The tip buds on the horse chestnut are in the very early stages of opening ... (the daffodils around here are in a slightly better condition than some of the others)

Seedling tree just opening the new season's leaves. I think it is an Ash [if it is still there at my next visit, in a month or two, I can check - yes, it is an Ash - not growing in a good place so will get removed at some point]
