Black & White image of passengers grouped at Peel Station. By the costumes, it is probably carnival day in Douglas. Date of the image is pre-1912, from the carriages visible. B1 & A1 formed "Pairs" F62 in 1925. B19 & C1 formed "Pairs" F64 in1912, and the B19 underframe was reused for van G.15. Not my image : Fair Use [research] & public information.

Pairs carriage F.66, stood outside the carriage shed Douglas. Not in brilliant condition as it is before the rebuild took place & it still has the lower waist line beading [the repanelling etc was done about 1978]. A couple of other carriages / luggage vans in the background, and an 'M' series waggon. colour / summer 1977. . Not my image : fair use & public information

MSR[HI] : F.37 - at Douglas Station {1969}

20 Mar 2023 75
F.37 in the yard at Douglas Station in the spring of 1969; this carriage was built for the Manx Northern Railway as their No.15 in 1899. Became F37 in the IMR fleet after the merger/takeover in 1904. . [Currently - 2023 - under survey]. There is an unidentifiable bogie "runner" in the foreground - which would have previously carried two 4-wheeler bodies ie a "pairs" coach.

MSR[HI] - Brake van E.5 at Douglas {date ?}

4-wheel Brake van E.5 [built 1876] at end of the south line platform in Douglas Station. [Image date ?? 1950s / 1960s ?? ] In two-tone [brown ?] livery, with the duckets removed and boarded up. The doors aren't in the best of condition and the main waist panel has a long split - at least 12", maybe 18" long in it. Long since scrapped. . Not my Image : Fair Use & public information
