Another aspect of the current cost of living crisis in rent inflation. This infographic shows a wide variation between the 13.7 & 13.5 for Edinburgh & London compared to the 4.3% increase for Belfast. Various causes such as a lot of the buy-to-let landlords with only a few properties are going bust or selling up is one of the main ones. But lack of demand isn't one of them, despite the high rents ! . not my image : fair use & public education
