A small, curved fragment of china, quite thin but not porcelain. It has a blue & white pattern on both sides. Found while walking on the outer harbour beach in Whitehaven.

Spotted this walking on the outer harbour beach in Whitehaven. It is a fragment of ceramic - white stoneware ? - which is curved as though it was from a mug, beaker or straight-sided bowl. I had a good look around but found nothing else. The dates and lettering implies Queen Victoria's Gold or Diamond Jubilees ...
