Sentinel S4 No.9278 in Stafford's livery
built in 1937 as a short 3-way tipper, then converter to a tar sprayer.
rescued from a scrap yard in 1956, it was rallied extensively until the 1970s, including appearing at Duncombe in 1963.
It then stood awaiting attention for many years. A full restoration was completed a few years ago and she came here from Co.Durham under her own steam.
