Whitby 's No 2 lifeboat, the 'Jacob and Rachael Vallentine', being lifted by a steam crane, prior to being loaded onto a train at the LNER Poplar goods depot, UK. It has just been reconditioned and four horses were needed to haul it from the docks to where it was placed on the train. It is 34 feet long and with a beam of 8.5 feet. .
