Signwriting details - The "Empty to Pinnox Junc" is authentic for Chatterley Whitfield waggons, as that was where the private colliery line met the national rail network [LMSR].
The numbers are the tare [ie empty] weight in Tons : cwt [hundredweights] : quarters ...
So ... Six tons 7 cwt 2 quarters [so, in round figures, about 6 and a third tons in old money]

Detail of the tare mark (the unloaded waggon was assumed to weigh 5 tons 14 hundredweights). As with the fleet number, this tare mark appears on both sides so it doesn't matter which way the waggon has been turned when it passes over the weighbridge.
