Something else that caught my eye was this scale baler & miniature traction engine.

This definitely caught my eye ! Based on a Burrell steam roller, the crane is an interesting - if weighty - addition. The plastic jerry cans contain additional water supplies. Quite a bit of ash has just been raked out - not the easiest of jobs on a miniature. Apparently, some of the supplied coal needs a hot fire to burn, and this one is running with Fros-y-Fran ovals [briquettes] to get the hotter fire needed.

Argyll Steam Haulage - a miniature steam waggon, freelance - possibly inspired by the older Sentinel designs, utilising what looks like a steam launch boiler.

Looking down the miniature steam line [the full size are behind me] - again, the high turnout of entries has probably been encouraged by the ability to "camp" at the back of the exhibits. [There's a security aspect for model, miniature & stationary engines displays which means owners want to be near their pride & joy]

A good proportion of the miniature [model] steam occupying the arena. Plus five of the full-size steamers are now in the line-up.
