two 1904 built "fore-cars" - a tadpole tricycle with the passenger carried over the front axle and the driver / engine behind.

Something different lined up with the working bikes. Tadpole motor-tricycle carrying a delivery chest, liveried for Everard's prize ales [the brewery dates from 1849 and is based in Leicester]

In this case, more of a cargo tricycle, with the wheels in the "tadpole" layout. The gap between the front pair of wheels has been adapted for transporting "cargo" with the pedals driving the single rear wheel. Quite how this is steered is a conundrum - I'll look more closely next time I visit.
