Garrett "Lou Lindy" designed 1912 and built in 1913 as a prototype in Leiston. 5hp, piston valved and weighs six tons. Maker'sNo. 34045 , RegNo. BJ 6628. Garrett's used her for internal transport during WW1 and she was finally registered in 1922 and sold off to L.S. Cooper [Suffolk] where she stayed. Arrived at Strumpshaw in the early 1990s, where she became a particular favourite of James Key. As it handles very lightly she has been termed a "Ladies' Engine". Believed to be the last survivor of six similar engines.
