The UK government have been trying to encourage the voluntary vaccination of social care and health workers to help protect the vulnerable people being cared for. Part of this process has been to provide early access to vaccination. The risk to patients is such that the Health Secretary has made vaccination mandatory [with a very limited number of medical exemptions] for workers in social care.
