The "R" modelling is fairly well balanced around 1.00 - so new infections are expected to be, overall, in a balanced state [neither expanding nor decreasing - on average, nationally. Regionally that may vary]. . . Not my Image : Fair Use & public information

"R" still well above 1.00, so new cases are expected to continue to increase, this is down to the greater infectivity of the 'Indian' variant, which is now dominant [according to the sample sequencing being done in the UK]. , , Not my Image : Fair Use & public information

The "R" values are all below 1.00, apart from Scotland [0.8 - 1.1] indicating the number of cases should be decreasing in the UK. Probably due to less social mixing in crowded indoor spaces, like schools - and better weather, encouraging meeting outdoors. Vaccinations will also be playing an important role. . . Apart from Scotland & Wales, which are predicted to see a rise in cases, most of the UK regions are balanced around R=1.00 indicating a steady state. . . Not my Image : Fair Use & public information
