After posting my image of this memorial, after the plaque had "disappeared" I was sent this one, to show what it had looked like. . . . Not my Image : Fair Use & public information

Very disappointed to find that some low-life toe-rag thief has removed the remembrance plaque from this stone. It listed the causalities lost from RAF Milfield during WW2. I know from another image that the plaque was stainless steel, not bronze, so the scrap value would have been fairly limited. I added a couple of white stones to the little "memorial" pile by the wreaths.
