Cut in 1838, reputedly to celebrate the coronation of Queen Victoria. It is near to the village of Broad Hinton.

First cut in 1812, also known as the Alton Barnes white horse, as that is the closest settlement.

Cut in 1999, to celebrate the third Millennium, above the hamlet of Roundway.
It does face to the right, the only Wiltshire White Horse to do so.
It is very close to the original Snobs Horse (traces of which only rarely visible) and at least the head / neck are based on the older horse. [Snob is local term for shoemaker]
