A very nice scale model, and well detailed, of the NMNGR'd "Pickering" Brake. The intention is to build a replica for the WHHR's Heritage Train, which will incorporate wheelchair accessible facilities. A long term aim, with fundraising already in progress !

Having removed the model's roof, the interior layout can be seen. From the left, Guard, Luggage, First and two Third Class compartments. The proposed project was to convert the luggage area for wheelchair / pedal cycle facilities. This would mean altering the position of the handbrake.
