These are one set of the authorised (official) routes for very large loads crossing Cumbria (and part of Northumberland). This - and some overnight timings - attempts to reduce the disruption. The A69 route passes very close to SRR's workshops, so we get some good views. not my image, and poor resolution ...

Two very large loads in convoy. Fortunately this is not a frequent activity as it can be very disruptive to traffic.
