3755 was restored during the 1980s with the assistance of the Manpower Services Commission, to its as built condition and carrying the post-WW1 Crimson Lake livery. In 2019 the vehicle was repainted into the chocolate and cream livery known as ‘pseudo panelling’ where the steel sides are lined out to match the wooden panelling of earlier carriages.

GWR [Great Western Railway] - Cattle Waggon, No. 38089 built in Swindon to Lot No.914.
Moved to Welshpool & Llanfair in 1937, to Festiniog in 1960, Returned to the Vale of Rheidol in 2014 and re-entered traffic in 2017. {I suspect that it may have been re-gauged}

Almost ready for departure, the carriages were lightly loaded.
ps I really hate that air pump, I wish they would hide it inside a fake extension to the side tank or something.

Hiding behind an ex-GWR station bench ... Based on a mark2 quarryman's carriage, the Hearse Van was built by the Festiniog Railway in 1885/6. Seen here on display at Gelert's Farm.
A number of Festiniog Railway personalities have taken a "last journey" in here.

GWR liveried Scammell "Scarab" or "mechanical horse". These little three wheel vehicles were used for local deliveries, replacing the ton and quarter-toner horse-drawn parcel vans. These little units were capable of hauling three or six ton trailers, depending on the engine version.

Headboard for "The Bristolian" on 6000, also known as "King George V" which was completed in June 1927. The bell is a memento of a trip to the USA during August to October 1927.

As the visit was on a non-operating day, No93 was tucked away in her shed.

This vehicle was originally constructed as Steam Railmotor No. 93. Built 1908 to Diagram R Lot 1142.
It was converted into an Auto Trailer (Diagram A.26, Lot No. 1542) in 1935.
In 2011 a major Heritage Lottery funded project to return it to a working steam railmotor was completed when it ran successfully for the first time in 75 years.
