I can't be the only one that feels the fascination - more like fetish - over guns in some areas of the usa results in loss of too many [young] lives. . Not my Image : fair use & public education.

Suggested thought processes (by some Americans & others) when discussing "mass" shooting events. My preferred action would be a change in the gun laws, but that seems to be politically too much of a hot potato to be an outcome. Not my Image : Fair use & educational purposes [political comment]

Another school shooting in the good ol' US of A. (18th May 2018). Two teachers and 8 students died, another 13 were wounded. Remember Dunblane school massacre, on 13 March 1996 ? (One teacher and 16 primary school children were murdered) Not long afterwards the UK banned private ownership of most hand guns. Excluding terrorist attacks, the Cumbria Shootings on 2nd June 2010 and the previous spree at Hungerford on 19 August 1987 have been the only such mass shooting events in the UK). [excluding the perpetrator, and he shot himself].
