Smart phone dependency makes online abuse / bullying far too easy, and allows those poor / anti-social behaviours to spread into the real world. And these phones & their running costs [data plans] are not cheap. . not my image : fair use & public information.

In US $$$ - the annual cost - per head - of health services in selected nations. More money "spent" does not always equal better results FOR PATIENTS ... which, surely, should be the aim of any health service. The US system is bloated by the insurance companies, and that causes medical bankruptcies ... . not my image ; fair use & public education

I'm wondering why the UK has such a large increase, especially when Germany was far more dependent on ru55ian gas, and has had to buy in much more expensive alternative supplies. Might it be something to do with a privatised / profit-driven industry, as well as brexit ??? . not my image ; fair use & public information

Given just how much gas prices in particular have increased recently [and I use LPG, which is even more costly] I'm not sure how much help these suggestions will be to me. we already have the thermostat down to as low as we can - and on a timer to reduce use. we already have almost all lights as LEDs we already have a small dishwasher and use the washing machine economically. In the winter we do need to use a dryer. we could do a re-draught-proofing exercise, but that would have a minimal benefit. All windows [but one room] are already double-glazed. .
