Two buildings of interest.
On the left, the main part of the De Winton works, now a plumbing business.
On the right, the derelict remains of the local tory club. Potentially, a lovely building.
In the foreground, one of the footbridges over the Welsh Highland Railway.

The museum also has the largest working waterwheel in mainland Britain, which is available for viewing via several walkways. The waterwheel was constructed in 1870 by De Winton of Caernarfon and is 50 ft 5ins in diameter, 5 ft 3ins wide and was built around a 12in axle.
.
The wheel was slowly turning (and dripping) when this image was captured.

Vertical "de Winton" steam locomotive boiler. This is from an engine named "Chaloner" that I have had the pleasure of riding behind a few years ago, when it was visiting the Porthmadog area.
