"William Riley" on the bank on the R. Taw, in Barnstaple in 2005. We needed to move her up-stream, "navigate" around sundry even deader boats, posts etc. on the way to the "quay" - then wait for the crane ... She 'floated' only on the highest "spring" high tides, which come into the estuary at quite a speed.

The condition as found on our first visit to Barnstaple. (apart from a dead 'gull!) There is a lot of work ahead, but she floated! even with the lower part of the hull underwater - shown by the damp area / tide mark.
