CADW notice alongside the entrance gate to Castell y Bere. It's a bit difficult to not climb on the monument, as some of the walls are very short. I think they mean don't climb up the towers nor on the curtain wall - there's a goodly drop onto rocks in most places.

This very welcome change in policy is "Wilkos" in Whitehaven. The town does have a very significant dog-owning section of the resident & visiting populations. . It also means that you don't have to trip over dogs waiting outside !

That makes a good deal of sense. Nothing so territorial as the common white domestic goose ... I'm assuming this notice appeared in the breeding season, when this problem is at it's worst. I don't know exactly where this is from, apart from somewhere on the London Underground network, which also has stations above ground. . . Not my image ; fair use & public information

The problem of recycled / used dog food being deposited on pavements is not a new one !
