WW1 memorial / poppy project. The aim is to have a poppy for every name on the War Memorial [I think the one pictured is from St John's Chapel]. The loss of life in wartime is appalling, WW1 especially destroyed so many, and in ways other than by killing them outright in battle. {my maternal grandfather lost his right hand in the trenches and he had what I now regard as PTSD - previously known as shell shock}

Bombing of London Transport (Buses & Tube Trains) on 7th July 2005 by terrorists. The response of the emergency services and others was truly heroic. May the victims Rest In Peace, for they did nothing wrong.

Candles for Remembrance - For Family, Friends, Strangers and companion animals.. Family; most recently my Uncle Gordon. Friends; including Greebo, ArthurB, MikeS Strangers; many that I'll never know about, but specifically - the crew of the RNLI lifeboat "Solomon Browne" and most recently the tragedies in Berlin, Manchester etc. "May their Spirits Rest In Peace" according to their beliefs. . Edit : I have been reminded to not forget the many companion animals no longer among us.
