Almost a dwarf version, deep red flowers but with plain leaves. Grown from seed.

Otherwise known as a Variegated Flowering Maple, Thompson's Maple, or Indian Mallow. Grown as an indoor plant, these can get to substantial size very quickly, flowers are not common unless in very good light and last only a day or two.
