Stepped back a little way to show the trunk of this Ginkgo tree. Noted that the bark on the lower part of this tree trunk has been abraded - by debris in floodwater from the adjacent river, and my previous image shows the impacted gravel ...

Tree roots normally act as supports to the main trunk, but the ones on this side have had the soil washed away.
