Back at Grosmont and the train engine is heading off to the shed for disposal [ie to be put to bed for the night.] Looking at the smokebox of BR Standard 4 Tank, No. 80136 ... and the tanks have the "Cycling Lion" emblem, although this was only used for a short time, I much prefer it to the later, more common one that goes by "Ferret & Dartboard".

Wall-mounted GR postbox (Grosmont, North Yorkshire). The monogram is George Vth so this box dates between 1910 and 1936. . Taken with flash as it was after dark, so the plate has over-exposed.
